For the third pass of my Layout & Timing boards I decided to make some quick thumbnails of the scenes I wanted to change.
I wanted to change the second scene from a wide shot of the whole street from the side to a medium shot facing Diane as she chased the demon. This way we could see her reactions to the other demons up close and get a feeling of space as Diane passed them.
Another change I was planning to make was for scenes 3-6. I wanted to condense them and make the camera angles more dynamic for this epic chase. So I change the location and the camera. I positioned it to where the demon would run and jump over the camera. The camera would follow the demon as it jumps over and start to climb the building as Diane tried to keep up. I also pushed the perspective of the scene where Diane watches the demon climb up the building to get a better feeling of how big it actually was.

I drew more sketches of the demon from my Layout & Timing class.
Working on its design and interaction with Diane.
I drew a quick height comparison of the three characters. I pictured the demon being a bit taller than Diane. Good for intimidation and awkwardly breathing over people's shoulders.
