More sketches of Roxi and her phone for the final. I did some sketches studying how one usually holds a cellphone. Also, I started to redraw some of the thumbnails in Photoshop.
Next up is the storyboards.
I finished my rough animation to sound. I am happy with how it turned out. It was really fun animating all of the crazy gestures. But for some reason when I exported it there were issues so I had to wait until after spring break to re-export it.
Over the break I have been working on my current project for my painting class along with other homework. But I don't think that I have shown all that I was working on for this project. Except for these two blog posts here and here
So this is going to be a big collection of what I have done for this project so far.
This was the piece that I took the colors from for this project. This is some of the concept art from the new game Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs by the company Frictional Games.
After we got our colors from our image we had to make different color schemes.
These are the five different themes that I came up with. We had to chose one for the final part of the project and I went with the first one, The Dark descent.
For the final I decided to do a character sheet. On it I planned to have the pallet, a turnaround of the character, and a painting of the character in an environment.
This is what I have so far.
It's been taking some time drawing the turnaround, but I plan on speeding things up so not to miss the deadline for this project.
In animation class we are starting our final. We have to make a 20 second animation that incorporates everything we've learned this semester.
Also here's a little sketch of the character that I plan on using for this animation.
I was practicing different coloring styles for my project in Painting.
We have to find a piece of art and use their colors to create a color scheme.
And then our final piece has to use those colors and be aimed towards our major. I'm planning on doing a character model sheet of sorts. I'm super excited. :)
I finished my oil painting for Painting and Color Theory class. Overall it was a really fun painting, with the pirate/ocean theme it had going on. There was some confusion with how it should be painted while I was working on it, but I think it turned out okay.
